Asus EEPC

I was looking for a PDA or new smartphone to replace my Nokia N95 but couldn't really decide on anything I liked. They all seemed to offer most of the things I wanted but not all in one bundle. After a bit of holidays malaysia I happened to come across a website advertising the check broadband connection speed for sale. At first I thought streamyx agent was a kiddies toy but with a bit more searching I came across the EEPC Forum which was malacca tourism of users praising it. I decided to order myself the 4gb white model dsl high speed internet see what all the fuss was about. I chose the 4gb model malaysia resorts on tips I'd found on varying websites mentioning the fact that it has unsoldered RAM and a RAM door in the bottom of the wireless broadband isp so you could easily upgrade it. Something which the 2gb model is missing.

When it arrived I was surprised at just how small it is - it's barely bigger than a DVD case and felt solid and well made. The EEPC comes pre-loaded with a linux distro that boots incredibly fast and is pre-loaded with over 40 applications including Pidgin - an IM client that connects to just about anything you can think of including IRC. Openoffice, Skype, Firefox, Tux Paint, virus scanner and other educational entertainment software, E-mail, and Internet radio applications, plus links to Google Docs and Wikipedia.

Driver support seems equally good with the device being able to pick up all the dsl broadband devices I've thrown at it such as external webcam (the Asus EEPC has one built in too) Ipod, mobile phones and external cheapest voip harddrives.

If you're not happy with broadband wireless dsl to use Linux they also throw in a CD full of drivers for XP so setting up Windows on your machine is easy. You will need to have access to a USB CDROM drive or USB memory stick to do this though as the EEPC is too small to house it's own CDROM drive.

While lacking a CDROM drive the EEPC sure makes up for it in other areas such as connectivity. With 3 USB ports, Ethernet, Webcam, Microphone, VGA output, Wifi, SSD Card reader and headphone sockets, you'll be sure to have enough options on the move. Sure you might be wishing it also had bluetooth or the missing CDROM drive but for the price you really can't argue.

If you're looking for a small lightweight mobile device or even a new PDA, I highly recommend you take a look at the Asus EEPC too before you make your choice.

Nokia Mobile N95 8GB Review

Features:

Nokia N95 8GB doesn't lack in features and proves that it's the n-series' range topper. There's a huge 2.8 inch 16 million colour screen to start with. It's extremely bright and quality tmnet streamyx packages impressive. Streamyx image quality, depth and ambiance is almost unprecedented and colour accuracy is difficult to fault. Then there's huge 8GB internal memory, which justifies the lack of card slot. Almost everyone won't Streamyx lacking storage with such a huge memory streamyx dlink disposal. The overall working of the phone is faster than the previous n-series phones, like the n70, n72, and Streamyx and is a welcome improvement.

The operation is reasonably fast at the start, and gallery opens instantaneously, and so does the other files and folders. As more of the memory is used, things slow down a bit, and regular working speed is still, somewhat, hmmm, slow, but it's adequate and tolerable. The cell phone uses Symbian 9.2.Now comes the best part, the camera. The cell phone comes with a 5 Mega pixel camera; now configuring streamyx lens cover (so one has to be more careful). It seems the same as on the N95, but it performs much better. The photo quality in all situations is has been improved. The camera webmail streamyx impressive pictures in natural and artificial light. It takes full advantage of the huge resolution to produce excellent results. Photos taken in the dark doesn't disappoint, but the LED flash is a bit weak.

The camera also records video in VGA resolution at 30 fps! The Nokia n95's camera was slightly behind the Sony Ericsson K850's camera, but this N95 8GB beats the k850 in GSM arena's 5 mega pixel shootout, and puts itself at the top of the chart. The music player is also great, and supports a huge Streamyx of formats: MP4, M4A, MIDI, AAC, eAAC, AAC+, and WMA are all supported. The sound quality is excellent. The sound is loud and extremely clear, both in the hands free and external speakers. There's no noise at full volume, and the stereo speakers work great. The quality is slightly below Sony Ericsson W910 in some tests but is better than almost every other cell phone, and the difference is minimal, and hardly noticeable to average user. The video quality is also impressive thanks to huge bright screen. The cell phone comes loaded with features. It has a built in GPS receiver, which can be handy navigation tool in a car etc. The cell phone has HSPDA 3.5G, HSC SD, WLAN and EDGE. And a huge number of softwares are available that can be installed later.

Conclusion

The Nokia N95 is almost unprecedented in it's class. It has countless features to keep everyone happy. Camera, entertainment, music, nothing is missing, and has sleek looks that draws everyone's attention. The main letdown is the price, but the features justify it. One can find almost everything he needs in a cell phone, and he can become popular among his friends and classmates with this amazing, I mean amazing product. Well done Nokia!

Slumdog scandal: Star's real mum weeps over plot to sell daughter

New Research in Quantum Computing

Ever wondered a powerful computer that can decrypt in a few seconds an encoded message that it would take a regular computer billions of centuries to crack? Where programming code, as small as 2 streamyx 124 4 lines could help you search a countrys Database? And so much so that according to, American computer engineer Howard

Amazon has outdone itself again. Just within days of launching tmnet streamyx com Kindle 2, apply streamyx also released its new Kindle iPhone app and sent iPhone users scrambling to download streamyx reseller free app and trying it out. The verdict? iPhone owners have been impressed enough that many of them have jumped on the Kindle bandwagon and have purchased one themselves.

How exactly does this Kindle iPhone app work? For starters, it's like having an extension of your Kindle with you wherever you go. If you're one of those who think that reading the Kindle even while waiting in lines or taking subway rides is a bit overdoing it, then the iPhone app is the answer to your reading dilemma. Take the iPhone with you anywhere and take Streamyx of short bursts of reading your Kindle streamyx combo promotion whenever you have some free time.

Applicable for both the iPhone and iPod touch, the Kindle for iPhone app has even taken the effort to make reading from the iPhone a pleasant experience. Given that the iPhone is a compact device, the readability is still great with 5 font sizes to choose from. Plus, going through pages is easily done with just a mere swipe of the screen right to left, or back. For bookmarking pages, finding the table of contents, going to the beginning or a specific location, and looking at the image cover, a couple of taps is all it takes as well.

Accessing all your Kindle books even without the Kindle around is also possible with the Kindle iPhone app. Just log-in to your Amazon account and download any of your books stored there straight to your iPhone. Even better, you can continue to read right where you left off from either device, thanks to Kindle's Whispersync technology. Make sure to sync your Amazon Kindle or iPhone before leaving and either one of them will automatically go to the last page read when you resume reading.

Another great thing about the Kindle iPhone app is that it gives the reader a full-color version of the email streamyx from its LCD screen, as opposed to the Kindle's shades of gray. What it cannot do however, is permanently replace the Kindle as the choice reading device. While the iPhone acts as a perfect foil to the Kindle, the latter's e-paper technology, wide screen, and superior readability is still the best device for hours of nonstop reading.

However exciting the new Kindle for iPhone may be, it still has a few downsides. First, buying books from Amazon or even just browsing available titles directly through the app is not yet possible. Moreover, the Kindle iPhone app is currently exclusive for ebooks and not for newspapers and magazines as yet. And one more thing, the dictionary feature is not available yet on the Kindle for iPhone app. These are minor drawbacks though, and with the way things are going with the Kindle, these features are surely not far off.

The Difference Between Broadband and DSL

Everyone has seen the commercials about the cable company saying how there Broadband is seven times faster than the DSL offered by the Phone Companies. What they don't tell you is that they mean their highest speed is seven times faster than the low speed streamyx balance the streamyx combo registration company(DSL). Their commercials make it sound like the product they offer is far superior to what the phone company has to offer.

The truth is, if the cable companies offer 8 meg. streamyx access and the phone company offers 8 meg. service, they are the same speed. The difference is the 8 meg. service from the phone company is yours, and yours alone. No one tm streamyx broadband shares your line. The cable company makes you share your service streamyx broadband promotion your entire neighborhood. Let me explain.

Your telephone and Internet service, in many cases, comes from a remote terminal somewhere near your home, this remote terminal is fed by fiber optics. From there your service comes to your home on 2 copper wires. Those wires go nowhere else but from that remote terminal to your house. This is what separates DSL from the phone company, and Broadband from the cable company. The cable company also brings fiber optics to whats called a "node", which is also somewhere near your home, but that is where the similarities end. From the "node", your service is brought to you on 1 copper wire. This may not seem like a big difference, but it is. You see, that 1 copper wire can feed hundreds of homes in your area. This means that you are sharing your Internet bandwidth with everyone in your neighborhood. So if your neighbor gets broadband Internet, and their neighbor gets broadband, and so on, they will all share the same line. This, in many cases, will cause your service to slow way down or even go out completely. The more people with broadband the worse it gets for your service and speed.

Pricing is no longer an issue on any of the services. Both the cable and phone companies are always in pricing wars, so this means low prices for you. To get the most out of your money though, my choice is DSL.

About The Author: My name is Mike. I have been in the communication industry for over 11 years. I have worked for both the cable company, and the phone company. I have worked with fiber optics, setting up internet service for dsl and broadband for Charter Cable and AT&T. These are my opinions, but are backed by everything I have experienced through my many years of service working with each company.
